Notes

Thanks for the feedback. Here is a more in depth explanation:

I orignally composed the music by creating MIDI tracks from text and wav files with "GoMinimal! v2.2" which is a MINIMAL music composition freeware tool. I then recorded tracks with my SOUND CARD, arranged the repeating segments into PATTERNS and added an AMBIENT track of recorded conversation drenched in reverb. After listening I decided it needed a metric beat so I assembled drum hits into a PATTERN and created some tracks. I then also added in more AMBIENT synth pad tracks that I made with some plugin and MINIHOST. This was all edited within VOYETRA RECORD PRODUCER and mixed into .wav format using ADVANCED AUDIO EDITOR. I did this all in about 15 minutes to prove a point. Just like my DNBisEZ track. I will produce a few more of these experiments except I will spend even less time producing them. That is what MINIMAL means to me. Listen at your own risk.

Thanks

I have been an avid fan of minimal and ambient music for many years, and have a keen sense of what is good and what is bad in these genres. Despite the couple of bad reviews given by individuals who do not seem to have a realistic concept of what this style of music should sound like, I must say that this is the Newage and ya’ll beeyotchiz better recognize. Furthermore, I am not agree with anyone who can not use proper spelling and sentence structure. Digi wins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool piece... short enough to make it through. Trippy enough to induce auditory hallucinations.

Subject: It's not minimal ambient.
This is a very interesting piece; reminds me of artists such as Four Tet or Max Tundra, but I have to agree with the others in saying it is NOT ambient or minimal.

Ambient / minimal is more along the lines of audio that does not distract the mind.

Anything with such dynamic range in instruments/melodies such as this piece creates an extreme amount of stimulation.

People shouldn't give it a low rating just because they were expecting something else. :(

It is too moving for the ambient sounds. I am agree with the click reviwer, it is too loud. Minimal is softer, more quiter than this, too many drums to blther you. not for the sleeping, or studiying

minimal music is just that. you do not need to be mozart to make minimal or ambient music. sounds just as good as any of that junk on here. i don't even like this kind of music that much and was going to give 3 stars but since this person, who obviously has a problem with you and has no other reviews did that i will give you 5. keep bringing us new music and ignore these people, they are trying to make you and that TTG guy mad.

This is the kind of stuff that gives "ambient" a bad name. This track is in no way "minimal" or "ambient." It IS someone dicking around with Cakewalk or some other software, sticking noise together at random, in the hopes of arriving at something viable. The attempt fails.
The piano devolves into dub silliness, and the cacophonous "march" at the end does little to help matters along.
A suggestion : a little less coffee before you sit down to compose your next "ambient" piece.
